ScaryJane.com is a new blog written for people who appreciate dark decor and morbid humor. It is for someone who agrees that a skull makes a nice bookshelf decoration and their welcome mat should specify whether or not vampires are allowed in the house.
“Adding a bit of gothic style and dark humor to your house seems to be in fashion these days,” said Jane. “At least to those who like to be a little unusual.”
Jane finds products to recommend from all over the Web, including things like a toilet brush shaped like a skull, wall hooks that look like knives and a shower curtain and bath mat that come pre-stained with blood.
“I like to find these odd products and write about them,” said Jane. “But I will also be covering popular culture, crafts, recipes and anything that is strange and creepy.”

Post topics will include products, crafts, design ideas, recipes, fashion, movies and television shows, books and, of course, Halloween. Jane is already planning a month-long focus on Halloween for October, with posts about how to decorate your house and what to serve at parties.
But Jane won’t stop with Halloween. Year-round she’ll give tips on celebrating holidays in creepy fashion. She’ll also be taking suggestions and tips from readers as her audience grows.
